Position : Maintenance Planning Engineer-Surface Protection

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner with expertise in surface protection maintenance, including fabrication, painting, coating, passive fire protection , and insulation . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures. This role demands strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder management , and working knowledge of SAP-PM / FIORI .

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Contractors to define and develop scopes for surface protection maintenance tasks.
• Conduct offshore and on-site surveys to assess job requirements (materials, tools, manpower, equipment).
• Prepare detailed job plans and work packs for maintenance execution, including risk assessment and permit identification.
• Use SAP-PM and FIORI to plan and schedule maintenance work orders, maintaining a prioritized backlog.
• Review and update work order data fields (e.g., function location, target dates, priorities) based on stakeholder input.
• Coordinate with field engineers and execution leads to address technical challenges such as corrosion, defects, and structural deterioration.
• Support workforce mobilization and offshore execution in collaboration with Execution Leads.
• Analyze execution feedback to improve planning quality and execution readiness.
• Forecast budgets, labor, and resource requirements to support upcoming maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety procedures.
