We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager for Textile industry in Amritsar, Punjab . The ideal candidate will support the sales team in achieving targets while managing client relationships and exploring new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the sales team and driving sales targets for the fabric division.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fabric market.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies for fabric products.
- Conduct market research to understand current trends and customer preferences.
- Provide training and support to junior sales staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Skills and Qualifications
2-6 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the textiles or fabrics industry.Strong understanding of fabric types, qualities, and market trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.Education
Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech / B.E), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A)
