Senior Network & Security Engineer .

A Sr. Network Security Engineer is a member of managed security services practice for enterprise network security suppor.  In addition to possessing deep technical knowledge, a Network Security Engineer interacts extensively with customers and partners using polite professional etiquette.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network security technologies and a strong understanding of modern security architectures including SASE, ZTNA, SSE, and SD-WAN. This role involves managing and optimizing network security infrastructure, responding to incidents, and contributing to the design of secure, scalable environments.

Sr. Network Security Engineer perform the following duties :

• Implement and manage next-gen network security technologies including SASE, ZTNA, SSE, and SD-WAN.
• Configure and optimize firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, and other security appliances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure network architectures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, incidents, and change management.
• Use strong TCP / IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
• Analyse and respond to security events from FWs, IDS, IPS, AV and other security data sources.
• Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
• Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services.
• Respond in a timely manner (within documented SLA) to support tickets.
• Be available, ready, and able to promptly handle incoming support calls in support of our contractual customer SLA’s
• Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
• Respond to needs and questions of customers concerning their access to network resources through their managed device.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices.
• Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements :   Must have intermediate skills / knowledge in some of the following :

Requirements : 1. Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred. 2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in a similar role with a strong understanding of project management methodologies. 3. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail. 4. Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in managing teams and building relationships. 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse groups and stakeholders. 6. Proficiency in project management software tools, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello. 7. A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
