Job Summary :
Responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities at the plant level. The role involves ensuring accurate financial operations, effective cost control, and adherence to statutory and company policies while supporting the corporate finance function.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations at the plant.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Oversee costing, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI.
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audit processes.
- Prepare and present MIS reports and financial analyses for management review.
- Collaborate with the corporate finance team to align plant-level financial operations with overall business goals.
- Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy.
Skills Required :
Strong expertise in costing, taxation, and plant accounting.Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to independently manage plant-level financial activities.Attention to detail and strong process-orientation.Qualification :
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.7–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 3+ years in a manufacturing plant environment.Skills Required
