We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations for our US employees using ADP. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, multi-state payroll processing, statutory compliance, and hands-on experience working with ADP Workforce Now / ADP Enterprise / ADP Run.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for US employees (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly as applicable).
- Manage payroll activities using ADP payroll systems including employee setup, compensation updates, benefits deductions, and wage adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Handle multi-state payroll, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and terminations.
- Review and validate payroll data accuracy including hours, overtime, leaves, reimbursements, and shift differentials.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee records, audits, and reconciliation.
- Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, year-end W-2 and W-4 forms.
- Address employee queries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.6- 8 years of US payroll processing experience , including multi-state payroll.Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now / ADP Enterprise / ADP Run).Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, FLSA, federal & state tax rules.Experience with payroll audits, compliance, and automated reporting tools.Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred
Experience with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems.Knowledge of payroll for 1099 contractors is an added advantage.CPP certification preferred (not mandatory).
