The Role
Presidio Networked Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to execute a strategic vision for delivering value add customized Operational Support Services to our customers and constituents. This is an onsite position supporting diverse networking technologies across a fast paced and constantly evolving organization. This is a challenging role with the expectation for the highest level of service delivery. You will fulfill a critical role on our team and interact with and support senior network engineers.

Responsibilities Include :
Operational Support Services Sr Network EngineerAct in a network engineering role on a team providing xx operational support of a large heterogeneous networkCollaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.Provide feedback to improve existing architecture to deliver a scalable, highly reliable networkManaging and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff.Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff.Act as escalation point for the resolution / execution of incidents, service requests, changesTroubleshoot and resolve network related performance issuesLog all customer interactions, filling out detailed information in tickets and document resolutions.Contribute to documented process improvements.Coordinate support activities with multiple user departments and internal teams, as well as third party vendors.Build and maintain positive, constructive partnering relationships with the client community.Responsible for maintaining various network projects with our client base.Interact with all levels of clients supporting all aspects of infrastructure technology in their environment.Participate in afterhours maintenance windowsParticipate in an on-call rotation scheduleStay current with latest trends in technology and the management and integration of those technologyRequired Skills and Professional Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of years’ experience in supporting a complex network environmentManaged Services experience preferredEntrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated and customer focused mindset essentialHighly organized with concentrated attention to detail preferredProven track record working in a team environment and independentlyAbility to manage a number of simultaneous activities while demonstrating accountabilityStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with quick adaptation to changeSolid communication and interpersonal skills – personable, effective communication style required with presentation experienceHigh emotional intelligence required for internal / external relationship development and managementTechnical Qualifications :
Advanced knowledge of network design, network operation or network automationAt least years of experience working with complex, high performance networks with many sites (data centers and / or branch locations)Advanced knowledge of one or more of : Arista EOS operating systems, F load balancers, Infoblox and Palo Alto firewallsKnowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and MulticastTroubleshooting experience using Ekahau, packet capture, NetFlow.
