Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for ETL pipelines and data validation.
  • Perform SQL-based data validation to ensure data integrity, consistency, and correctness.
  • Work closely with data engineers to test and validate Data Hub implementations.
  • Automate data quality tests using Python and integrate them into CI / CD pipelines.
  • Use GitHub for version control, managing test scripts, and collaborating on automation frameworks.
  • Debug and troubleshoot data-related issues across different environments.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and improve testing strategies for big data solutions.

Requirements :

  • 7+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on data testing, ETL testing, and data validation.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, transformation testing, and debugging.
  • Good working knowledge of Python and GitHub for test automation and version control.
  • Experience with ETL testing and Data Hub solutions.
  • Understanding data pipelines, data warehousing, and data governance concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PySpark and distributed data processing frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
