OT Security Engineer

Job descriptionOversee comprehensive risk assessments of OT systems and processes, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies. Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities specific to industrial control systems. Develop and enforce OT security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISA / IEC 62443 and other applicable frameworks. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for OT environments, ensuring a robust defense against cyber threats. Oversee the deployment and management of intrusion detection / prevention systems and security incident and event management tools. Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans for OT security incidents. Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing measures to prevent recurrence. Manage and lead a team of OT security professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support. Facilitate training programs to enhance the skills and awareness of the OT security team. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in OT security within industrial environments. In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems, SCADA, and PLC systems. Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or ISA / IEC 62443 are required. Strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISA / IEC 62443, ISO 27001). Proven leadership and team management skills.
