Engineering Manager

Position : Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional engineering teams, defining technical strategies, and aligning technology with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring teams while ensuring best practices in software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical strategies and solutions.
Define and communicate best practices, design patterns, and engineering standards.
Oversee architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Establish and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with company goals.
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, tools, and emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards.
Support project planning, estimation, and timely delivery of solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Cloud & Infrastructure
Expertise in AWS EKS (Kubernetes) and cloud-native architectures.
Strong experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS – PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL).
Proficiency in serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
Software Architecture
Deep understanding of Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.
Experience with Multi-Tenant Architectures (SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, hybrid platforms).
Security & Compliance
Strong knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML.
Experience with IdentityServer4, AWS Cognito.
Expertise in API security (rate limiting, throttling).
Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2 compliance.
Experience with data governance and encryption (AWS KMS, CloudTrail).
Data & Storage
Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with search engines (Typesense, ElasticSearch) and caching (Redis, Memcached, AWS ElastiCache).
Messaging & Streaming
Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Kafka.
DevOps & CI / CD
Experience building and managing CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
Monitoring & Observability
Strong experience with AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK Stack.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or Technical Architect.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
