Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs and KPIs
- Own the end-to-end Credit & Capital Management servicing journey, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for customers and internal stakeholders
- Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk
- Continuously drive improvement in their productivity whilst enhancing client experience.
- Adopt technology and customer experience improvement initiatives, including alignment to a globally consistent CCM operating model.
- Participate in deal discussions and meetings with clients or credit risk as required
- Strong execution and implementation ability.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the teams, including credibility with both Business and Risk leaders.
- Protect the Bank by acting as First Line of Defence and adhering to all controls
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit recomentations, along with addressing any issues raised by external regulators
- Demonstrates ability to engage in constructive and consistent dialogue with risk partners, in a manner that effectively balances commercial outcomes and risk management
- Work with the BCO Team Lead to ensure adequate credit risk management controls are built into the operational process and robust MI is in place to track and measure risk against agreed thresholds
- Staying abreast of latest guidelines and procedures, FIM and other regional policy guidelines, ensuring necessary guidance is provided to the team.
- Demonstrate high standard of collaborative skills.
- Undertake high quality industry, competitor and client level financial analysis; climate related risk assessment of the carbon footprint of the lending portfolio including policy applicability, identifying physical and transitional risks
- Analysis and investigation of portfolio exposure for Financed Emissions reporting, including Thermal Coal (TC) and exposure weighting calculations for eligible counterparties, along with assurance support for ARA reporting.
- Cohesively and objectively manage the team of 6-10 BCO Analyst, Associate and senior Associates.
- Coach team members for development and sustain a highly motivated and skilled team to meet business needs.
- Actively participate along with the team to ensure productivity and quality are maintained and continuously improved.
- Sustain good communication with the team members and with the wider organization across locations.
- Allocate work to ensure optimization of both output and quality.
- Sustain the motivation levels of the team in core responsibilities and in the wider GCC and CSR activities.

Qualifications
Post Graduation in Management / Finance / Economics, or equivalent such as a Chartered Accountant CFA, FRM or equivalent or as per local market conditions.Capital markets certifications in Mutual Funds, Derivatives, Stock Markets, etc. would be an added advantage.Good u nderstanding of ESG and Climate Risk - Understanding ESG policies and their implementation using annual reports, CSR / Sustainability reports and other company filings6+ years relevant corporate lending experience with strong analytical skills and sound credit domain knowledgeStrong understanding of various financing instruments and banking products for Wholesale BankingStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive alignment among senior leadersClear understanding of the Group credit risk principles, policies and statutory compliancesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, Commercial Mindset, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organizationExceptionally strong problem-solving and communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries.Highly customer oriented and delivering top quality customer service.Skills Required
