Wordpress Developer

webdew is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress development best practices, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Responsibilities :

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client specifications

Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements

Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality

Conduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixes

Experience in speed optimization techniques

Stay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices

Configure and customize WooCommerce functionalities like product pages, shopping carts, and payment gateways to enhance the overall user experience.

Proficient in setting up custom Woo commerce and other complex functionalities on both front end and back end as per the website requirement.

Requirements :

3-5 years of experience in WordPress development

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins

Hubspot CMS experience would be a bonus.

Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus

Experience with custom coding in WordPress, including developing custom functionality, hooks, and filters

Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for customizing WordPress functionality beyond standard themes and plugins

Ability to troubleshoot and debug custom code efficiently

Familiarity with WordPress coding standards and best practices for maintaining clean, efficient, and secure code

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when implementing custom solutions to meet project requirements
