Investment Accounting Manager – FOS Family Office

BDO RISE is looking for Investment Accounting Manager – FOS Family Office (US) for Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Accounting Manager to join our FOS Family Office team. This role is critical for ensuring accurate investment accounting and supporting staff with complex entries and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both investment and general ledger accounting, as well as a strong understanding of consolidated concepts and private equity accounting.

Required Skillset

Minimum 9 years of experience in US accounting with,

General ledger accounting

Investment accounting (platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran, etc.)

Consolidated accounting concepts (eliminating entries)

Private equity accounting

Wealth enterprise accounting (entity cost allocation)

Trust & foundation accounting

Basic tax treatments

Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially for family enterprises

Experience in a reviewer role and staff / project management

Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience with both investment performance platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QBO)

Proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments

Ability to train and support staff on complex accounting entries and reconciliations
