As the

High School Academic Leader

will play a pivotal role in ensuring outstanding academic outcomes for students in Grades 9 and 10 across partner schools. The role involves designing, developing, and scaling high-quality curriculum and assessments aligned with Board standards to drive Board exam success nationwide. The leader will work closely with internal teams - Business, Technology, and Excellence - as well as external authoring partners, to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of LEAD’s high school curriculum across CBSE and State Boards

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design, adoption, and continuous improvement of high school curriculum—including lesson plans, textbooks, assessments, and digital content—aligned with Board requirements.

Oversee end-to-end curriculum delivery planning to ensure timely, high-quality rollout to schools.

Manage and mentor a team of subject matter experts, content developers, reviewers, and digital creators to ensure academic excellence and operational efficiency.

Ensure all academic materials and assessments meet learning standards and Board mandates (starting with CBSE and expanding to other State Boards).

Drive implementation of the curriculum across partner schools and iterate based on field feedback and performance insights.

Design and deliver teacher training materials; support master trainers and school leaders to ensure effective classroom execution.

Lead academic query resolution from schools to ensure smooth adoption and satisfaction.

Scale the curriculum product from CBSE to multiple State Boards based on success and learnings.

Collaborate with the Technology and Business teams to integrate curriculum design with scalable delivery models.

EXPERIENCE

Experience :

6–8 years of experience in curriculum design or academic leadership, with a focus on high school (Grades 8–10).

Proven track record of developing STEM curriculum or content for senior grades.

Strong experience in large-scale program management and academic implementation.

Demonstrated success in teacher training, academic adoption, and learning outcome improvement

Educational Background :

Graduate or Postgraduate degree from a reputed Indian institution.

Technical & Functional Skills :

Deep understanding of CBSE and State Board requirements for Grades 9–10.

Familiarity with digital learning tools and technology integration in academic delivery.

Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.

Hands-on experience with assessment design and learning diagnostics.
