Cloud / Devops- Technical Presales Capability Lead

Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Technical Presales Capability Lead – Cloud & DevOps to enhance our technical presales efforts, foster innovation, and drive business growth within our global Cloud & DevOps practice.

This leadership role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, DevOps methodologies, and solution architecture, combined with strong presales and client-facing capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering tailored cloud and DevOps solutions, leading presales engagements, and building global capabilities through thought leadership and strategic client collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Practice Leadership & Capability Development Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Cloud & DevOps practice, aligning with emerging trends and business needs.

Build and lead a high-performing global team of cloud architects, DevOps engineers, solution consultants, and presales experts.

Develop reusable assets, including solution blueprints, frameworks, accelerators, and best practices for cloud and DevOps offerings.

Enhance talent development through mentoring, training programs, certifications, and continuous skill-building in cloud and DevOps technologies.

Presales & Solutioning Collaborate with sales and account teams to understand client needs and craft compelling proposals, RFP responses, and technical solutions.

Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud and DevOps solutions tailored to specific business challenges and industry use cases.

Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and client presentations to establish credibility and drive solution adoption.

Delivery & Oversight Provide thought leadership and guidance to delivery teams to ensure alignment with proposed solutions and technical excellence.

Oversee the implementation of cloud and DevOps pipelines, including CI / CD workflows, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments.

Collaborate with delivery managers to ensure the timely execution of projects while maintaining quality standards and budgetary constraints.

Thought Leadership & Innovation Stay ahead of advancements in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and automation technologies.

Represent the organization at industry events, webinars, and panels to showcase expertise and innovation in cloud and DevOps practices.

Publish thought leadership content such as blogs, whitepapers, and case studies on emerging trends and best practices in cloud and DevOps.

Industry & Client Engagement Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and stakeholders, translating business objectives into effective cloud and DevOps strategies.

Develop industry-specific solutions and accelerators for sectors such as banking, retail, telecom, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Foster long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for driving account growth through cloud and DevOps transformation initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience Technical : Exceptional expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including services like Lambda, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.

Strong command of DevOps practices such as CI / CD, automated testing, release management, and container orchestration.

Proficiency in tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless workflows.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches and cloud-native architectures.

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).

Presales & Consulting : 10+ years of experience in presales, solutioning, and proposal development in cloud and DevOps domains.

Demonstrated success in leading workshops, proof-of-concepts, and RFP responses for enterprise clients.

Proven ability to engage with multiple industries, including BFSI, telecoms, retail, and healthcare.

Leadership : Strong capability to scale global teams and drive talent development.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing cross-functional teams across geographically distributed locations.
