Role Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Software Service Engineer to plan, execute, and manage software support and implementation for industrial instruments and precision systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong software technical expertise with problem-solving skills to ensure superior service delivery, smooth software operations, and customer Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute software service calls, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities for industrial instruments and systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications, firmware, and digital systems associated with Mettler Toledo products.
- Execute software validation, testing, and updates following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Provide technical solutions to customers, including software optimization, system integration, and updates / upgrades.
- Generate leads for software services, subscriptions, and product upgrades based on customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary technical software contact for clients.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including response time, software uptime, service revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of software installations, updates, service calls, and support Technical Skills & Qualifications :
- Diploma or B.E. in Computer Science,or related field.
- 35 years of experience in software support, implementation, or technical service roles in industrial / enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience with software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Knowledge of database management, firmware updates, and industrial software applications is a plus.
- Understanding of software validation, operational qualification, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
