Job description
Revenue Generation
Accomplish responsibility for the Ad sales – Generating revenue for the company through cinema as an advertising medium
Spearheading team members & responsible for achieving the targets allotted by working alongside with the team
Overall responsible for developing a high-quality client base by building strong relationships with key resources and maintaining a balance between marketing initiatives, product profitability and cost to serve
Team Management
Handling team members and looking after day to day sales function.
Working alongside with team to ensure existing accounts are serviced and also to get new clients on board and also to ensure that targets are being met by each team member.
Prepare strategy based on competition mapping and market update and strengthen relationships in the market with the support of team member
Business Strategy
Make sales strategy and to think new ideas which can help to bring in additional revenues.
Identifies and communicates upsell opportunities by portfolio to the team and to the clients.
Client Management
Maintain key relationships at local accounts and agencies as well as national accounts and agencies.
Managing, mentoring the time team.
New Client / Agency Development.
Competitor tracking
Collections :
Timely submission of invoice to the client and agency post the activity.
Responsible for getting the payments from the clients and agencies on timely basis.
Job Competences (Skills) :
Ability to drive and execute regional ad sales strategy in alignment with national goals
Ownership of revenue targets, new business development, and key account retention
Skilled in annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and territory performance tracking
Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of sales executives / managers
Ability to build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability
Conduct regular training, pipeline reviews, and joint client visits
Deep understanding of Tamil Nadu ad market (Chennai, Coimbatore, etc.)
Strong connects with local advertisers, media agencies, and regional brands
Ability to identify market shifts and develop region-specific GTM (go-to-market) plans
Ability to conceptualize and pitch integrated media packages (Cinema, Digital, Experiential, etc.)
Ability to engage and influence CXOs, brand heads, and media planners
Proficient in pricing strategy, rate negotiations, discount structures, and profitability management
Hands-on experience with contract closure, invoicing, collections, and credit control
