Role Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, digitally focused Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead the commercial strategy and execution for our global Pharmacy Over-The-Counter (OTC) portfolio. This role is crucial for driving growth through digital innovation, market analytics, and close strategic coordination with key markets like Russia, South Africa, and other major global territories.
Job Responsibilities :
Global Digital Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus) :
Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and e-commerce strategies specifically targeting the 'Ready-Steady Farmer' (Pharmacy / Retailer) channel in selected high-potential markets.
Drive the digital transformation roadmap for the OTC division, focusing on enhancing digital engagement, content, and data analytics capabilities.
Commercial Leadership & Growth :
Manage the global P&L for the assigned OTC portfolio, ensuring delivery against ambitious revenue and margin targets.
Utilize advanced analytics and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, optimize pricing, and inform strategic decisions across global markets.
International Coordination & Travel :
Act as the central strategic hub, coordinating intensively with General Managers and commercial teams in core markets (e.g., Russia, South Africa).
Requires frequent international travel to key markets to ensure strategic alignment, execution excellence, and strong internal customer relationship management.
Qualifications :
Experience : 8-14 years in the Pharmaceutical / OTC / FMCG sector with significant Global / International experience.
Expertise : Proven track record in driving commercial success through digital marketing, e-commerce, and data analytics. Deep understanding of the pharmacy / retail channel dynamics is essential.
Skills : Exceptional analytical abilities, strong skills in internal stakeholder management, and a willingness to undertake heavy international travel. An MBA is highly preferred.
