JOB OVERVIEW

For 14 years, CandidShutters has been telling powerful stories through stunning visuals-photography, films, and all things creative. Now, we're launching new verticals under the CandidShutters banner, functioning with the speed and energy of a startup.

We're looking for a Web Developer who will be a core member of our small, close-knit team, working directly with the founders. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our web platforms while implementing automation and integrations that make our digital presence seamless and powerful.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Website Development & Maintenance : Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress and WooCommerce websites. Manage hosting environments, domain settings, and backups. Ensure sites are mobile-friendly, fast, and SEO-compliant.
Integrations : Implement APIs integrations to connect websites with third-party tools.
Optimization : Optimize site performance, security, and scalability.
SEO Implementation : Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization, schema markup, and keyword structuring.
Design & Communication : Use a good sense of design to create wireframes. Write clear documentation and communicate effectively with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience : 2–5 years of hands-on experience in web development, or a strong fresher with demonstrable projects.

Technical Skills : Strong expertise in WordPress , WooCommerce , PHP , HTML , CSS , and JavaScript . Experience with ERPNext or similar ERP platforms.

Integration & Automation : Ability to integrate APIs for automation and data sync.

SEO : Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices (on-page, technical). Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.

General : Good verbal and written English communication skills. A comprehensive understanding of website architecture and data flow. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

WordPress and WooCommerce development (including Elementor)

PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / jQuery

Familiarity with ERPNext would be an added advantage

API integration

Web hosting management (cPanel, DNS, SSL, backups)

On-page and technical SEO best practices

Strong communication and problem-solving mindset

Teamwork and adaptability in a startup environment
