Role Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell India, you will be a key member of a dynamic group that excels in designing complex electrical systems for global Oil & Gas projects. From conceptual layouts to the final build, you will provide pivotal design insights and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve world-class outcomes.Key Responsibilities :
Familiar with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design work in own disciplineKnows technical theory and engineering principles in disciplineUnderstands and prepares basic electrical system, One-Lines, Metering & Relaying, wiring and schematicsUnderstands basics of low voltage power systems and can apply them for sizing & selection of electrical equipmentApply solid knowledge in electrical theory and engineering principles to produce robust design solutionsPerform system analysis like short circuit, load flow, TCC, arc flash, relay system coordination, motor starting & harmonic analysis, ground grid studyPerform system study analysis in software like ETAP & SKMLeverage office productivity tools (word processors and spreadsheets) for project documentation and data analysisWhat Makes You a Great Fit

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited college or university plus 2-5 yrs of applicable related field experienceMaster s degree in related field may be substituted for one year of applicable experienceDemonstrated expertise in electrical design software with strong problem-solving capabilitiesProven ability to coordinate teams and drive collaborative effortsFluent in English, both written and spoken, with prior experience on U.S.-focused projectsExpertise in ETAP & SKM SoftwareCareer Growth Plan
