Job Overview

• Sustainability, Legal & Compliance is comprised of the following functions : Global legal, Ethics & Compliance, Corporate Legal, Digital Law, IP & Legal Operations and sustainability.
• Sustainability, Legal & Compliance has a vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in : managing legal and conduct risk in how business is done, creating a business environment, which embeds responsibility for business ethics and law into daily operations, ensuring better control and predictability for the business on a global scale, as well as, creating a sustainable and responsible business.
• Legal team plays a vital role in supporting the business on a global, regional and local level with contractual arrangements, negotiations, risk evaluation, general day-to-day legal support, disputes resolution.
• As part of the global Legal team, the Legal counsel in India , will be providing high quality, strategic and practical legal advice, guidance and support for Getinge’s business in India. The intention is that the function will be part of the leadership team of the SSU / BA (if any) in India but also involves close collaboration with the global business / product areas, global sales and service, corporate and group functions, as well as most importantly, other in-house counsels and the overall global SLC team.
