Overview
We are looking for a Finance Associate to support core accounting and finance operations. The role involves managing daily bookkeeping, accounts payable / receivable, reconciliations, and supporting statutory compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, and ensure general ledger accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts receivable including customer onboarding, timely invoice generation, and related bookkeeping.
- Maintain organized records—both hard copies and digital—of invoices and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper documentation and systematic filing for audit and compliance.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and statutory compliances (GST, TDS).
- Track payment schedules and follow up to ensure timely processing.
- Coordinate with internal teams for expense tracking and cost management.
- Provide support during statutory and internal audits.
- Undertake any additional accounting or finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
CA Intermediate (Group 1 cleared), ORCMA qualified, ORB.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance / Accounting)Additional Advantages
Experience using Zoho Books or Tally ERP.Certifications in GST, TDS, or related compliance areas.Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.Personal Attributes
