We’re looking for a Technical Game Designer to join our team. You’ll be part of a passionate group of designers, artists, and engineers shaping the future of Indus; bringing fresh ideas to gameplay, systems, and live-ops.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior designers and cross-disciplinary teams to design and implement core gameplay systems, progression mechanics, and live events.
- Own features end-to-end : from ideation, documentation, and prototyping to implementation, playtesting, and iteration.
- Translate high-level design goals into clear, actionable design specs for the dev team.
- Balance gameplay systems through data-driven iteration, player feedback, and playtesting.
- Stay current with trends in Battle Royale, Extraction, and multiplayer shooters — analyzing competitor titles and bringing new ideas to the table.
- Contribute to Player experience flows, and economy balancing when required.
- Ensure features align with Indus’ vision, tone, and player-first philosophy.
Experience & Skills Required :
2–4 years of professional game design experience.A Diploma / Bachelor's Degree (or further education) in Game Design or relevant fields.Strong understanding of game mechanics , systems design , and player psychology .Proven ability to write clear, concise, and structured design documentation .Experience working with game engines (Unity preferred) .Analytical mindset : able to interpret metrics, and feedback to iterate on designs.Collaborative , proactive , and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment .A passion for Battle Royale & Competitive Multiplayer Games; and pushing the boundaries of gameplay.Bonus Points
Prior experience designing for Multiplayer Shooters or other Live-Ops driven games.Experience balancing combat systems, character abilities, or economies.Familiarity with scripting or prototyping tools.
