Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Merchandising and Marketing to lead our retail merchandising and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving category growth, product strategy, pricing, and promotion, while strengthening brand positioning and delivering an engaging customer experience across all channels. This role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, creativity, data-driven decision making, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
Merchandising
- Define and execute the overall merchandising strategy across categories and store formats
- Lead product assortment planning, inventory control, and in-season management
- Analyze consumer trends, sales data, and competitor activity to optimize buying and planning
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability and replenishment
- Maintain optimal stock turns and gross margin performance Marketing
Marketing
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies (online & offline)Oversee brand communication, advertising campaigns, and digital marketingLead seasonal promotions, events, and visual merchandising strategiesEnsure consistent and impactful brand presence across all touchpointsLeverage consumer insights and market data to drive campaigns and engagement Leadership & StrategyManage, mentor, and develop cross-functional teamsWork closely with senior leadership on business strategy and growth planningDrive omnichannel initiatives, enhancing both in-store and digital customer experiencesOwn marketing and merchandising budgets, reporting on ROI and KPIsKey Requirements :
Proven experience (10+ years) in retail merchandising and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleStrong understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, and buying cyclesHands-on experience with retail planning tools, digital platforms, and CRM systemsExcellent skills in data analysis, forecasting, pricing, and category managementStrong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesBachelor's / Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)Skills Required
