Role : Senior .NET Developer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Full Stack Observability engineering organisation. This team will be responsible for reinventing observability in enterprises, reimagining, conceiving, and building solutions that apply intelligence to how our customers observe, act & automate all aspects of work. We develop and deliver a range of capabilities that together unleash the power of an observability solution across network, infrastructure, applications, data, and business observability. We process several billion data points a day, and design and build applications that provide our customers meaningful insights from their data and make them actionable in real-time.
This will be ideal for you if you enjoy building modern cloud native platform services that are architected for high scale, reliability, security, and performance, are adept at developing against requirements through delivery to impact customers on a global scale and are also able to upskill the engineering organisation by example.
In this role, you will work with our cross-functional teams to define solutions that leverage a data lake of telemetry data, build and execute on strategic product roadmaps, and design architectures to scale these solutions across our global customer base.
Your Role :
Become a scrum team member responsible for the Core parts of our highly scalable SolarWinds products. As a Senior Developer, you will work with product managers to design, review, and develop new features and improve existing ones to make our customers happier. Also, you can have a broader impact on the practices used in the team and the whole department. To help in this way, we have many communities (DB, Security, Build, Automation, Agile, etc.) you can be part of based on your interests / preferences.
Your Impact :
- You and your team will be responsible for the entire development process, from prototyping to development, testing, and deployment
- Implement micro-services and applications that continue to further extend our platform capabilities to offer differentiated full-stack observability solutions
- You will be part of an agile team that writes code, tests it, and takes care of its high quality and maintenance

- You will cooperate with other teams in the international environment to ensure meeting the product and organisation goals

Your Experience : Must have :
Proven experience (7+ years) as a .NET Developer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutionsIn-depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologiesGood exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and any modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)Be a good team player with a collaborative, curious, and innovative mindsetSolid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practicesExperience working with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, and / or KubernetesStrong database skills, including experience with SQL Server databasesContain the ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologiesHave the skills to develop clean and maintainable code and follow commonly used practices, e.g., unit / automation testing, secure product development, etc.Nice to have :
Has exposure to RESTful, Web API, WPF, and WCF ServicesSolid understanding of REST & GraphQLKnowledge of Docker / Kubernetes, Micro Services, and SaaS architecturePrior experience working in the network monitoring domain is an added advantageKnowledge of CI / CD principlesExperience in building scalable applicationsDemonstrated ability to work with AI agentic workflows and tools such as GitHub CopilotNote :
We work in hybrid mode 3+2, with a minimum of 3 days at the office and 2 days in the home office.
