About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated General Manager to lead the overall operations of Toshali Royal View Resort, Shimla . The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient operational management, strong revenue growth, and a positive work culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Engineering, and Admin.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all departments with high service standards.
- Implement SOPs and maintain compliance with brand and industry standards.
2. Guest Experience & Quality Control
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, handle VIP guests, and resolve escalations professionally.Monitor online reviews (OTA platforms, social media) and drive improvements in service quality.Maintain resort ambience, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.3. Revenue Management & Sales Support
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to drive occupancy, ARR, and overall revenue.Monitor forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategies to maximize profit.Identify opportunities for business growth, partnerships, and promotions.4. Financial Management
Prepare and monitor budgets, control costs, and achieve profitability targets.Review financial reports, P&L statements, and implement cost-control measures.Ensure efficient procurement and vendor management.5. Team Leadership & HR Coordination
Lead, train, motivate, and mentor department heads and staff.Foster a positive and disciplined work culture.Identify staffing needs, coordinate with HR for recruitment and training, and ensure performance management.6. Compliance, Safety & Maintenance
Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and audit requirements.Oversee property maintenance, safety, and preventive maintenance programs.Ensure compliance with fire safety, FSSAI, hygiene, and environmental standards.7. Reporting & Coordination
Provide regular updates to Management on resort operations, revenue, and challenges.Implement management decisions and maintain transparent communication.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management.10–15 years of progressive experience in hospitality operations.Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Expertise in resort operations, guest service, and financial management.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.
