Job Description : CAE Specialist – Hypermesh & LS-DYNA (Seating Domain)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled CAE Specialist with expertise in Hypermesh and LS-DYNA to join our team. The role focuses on Finite Element (FE) modeling and analysis for car seat systems within the seating domain. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing, optimizing, and validating innovative seating solutions to meet safety, comfort, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop high-quality FE models for car seat components and systems using Hypermesh .
- Conduct non-linear and dynamic simulations in LS-DYNA , focusing on structural integrity, crashworthiness, and occupant safety.
- Perform detailed analysis, including material modeling, joint behavior, and contact interactions, to optimize seat design.
- Validate simulation results through correlation with physical tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and recommendations based on analysis results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and manufacturing, to deliver robust seating solutions.
- Stay updated on advancements in simulation tools and automotive standards related to seating systems.
Qualifications & Skills :
Educational Background :Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.Technical Expertise :Proficiency in Hypermesh for FE modeling.Hands-on experience with LS-DYNA for crash and dynamic analysis.Strong understanding of automotive seating systems, materials, and design principles.Experience :Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in CAE within the automotive industry, focusing on seating domain analysis.Knowledge of standards such as FMVSS, ECE, or equivalent is a plus.Skills Required
