Role Description

• System Design : Develop detailed designs for plumbing and fire fighting systems, including water supply, drainage, vent systems, rainwater harvesting, pump rooms, firefighting systems (sprinklers, standpipes, hydrants, hose reels), and associated equipment.
• Calculations : Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pressure loss analysis, and equipment selection to ensure system efficiency and code compliance.
• Documentation : Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including layouts, schematics, technical specifications, and reports in accordance with relevant local and international codes and standards.
• Tender Preparation : Assist in the preparation of tender documentation such as bills of quantities, material specifications, and scope of work for plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Coordination : Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to integrate plumbing and fire fighting systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct regular reviews and quality checks of design deliverables to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Site Visits : Carry out site inspections as necessary to assess existing conditions, verify installation quality, and ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
• Project Management : Manage plumbing and fire fighting design components from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordination Meetings : Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings to address technical issues and support smooth project execution.

Qualifications
