Job description
  • An Anaplan Model Builder designs, builds, and maintains Anaplan models to support business planning and forecasting.
  • They work with various teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional models, ensuring data accuracy and model integrity.
  • The role also involves providing support and training to end-users and continuously improving existing models.
  • Responsibilities : Design and Development : Model Design : Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models for various functions, such as revenue, costs, and consolidations. Requirement Gathering : Collaborate with internal teams and / or clients to understand business requirements and translate them into Anaplan models.
  • Model Construction : Build and develop Anaplan modules, lists, and dashboards based on model blueprints.
  • Data Integration : Ensure data accuracy and model integrity by monitoring data flows between Anaplan and source systems.
  • User Interface (UI) : Design intuitive dashboards and interfaces to provide actionable insights.
  • Maintenance and Optimization : Model Maintenance : Maintain existing Anaplan models, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and efficient.
  • Performance Tuning : Continuously improve and optimize models to enhance performance.
  • Model Documentation : Document model designs, business rules, and key processes.
  • Data Management : Partner with data management teams to test and configure data feeds.
  • User Support : Provide support and training to end-users on Anaplan functionalities.
