About the Role

Support the Discipline Lead, BIM Manager and Production Team(s) in day to day BIM implementation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fortnightly and monthly progress updates to the Discipline Lead and BIM Manager.
  • Maintain records of all formal BIM correspondences.
  • Support hardware / software deployment and deliver BIM software training to the project team.
  • Develop and update BIM object libraries and quality templates per organizational standards.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of all BIM submissions through regular QA / QC checks.
  • Validate models for accuracy, export data for design and commercial use, and perform clash detection.
  • Prepare reports and models for value engineering and constructability analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Systra Group policies, including ethics, safety, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • Experienced CIVIL 3D modeler with skills in modelling Track works, rail utilities, drainage modelling and experience in multi-disciplinary Design workflows and understanding of 3D coordination process.
  • 5-10 years experience in BIM Tools.
  • Experience within Design or Construction on infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within 3D Modelling and Drafting, BIM Modelling / Coordination with Utilities Design experience.
  • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary Design workflows and understanding of 3D coordination process.
  • Proficient in a range of authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations and collaboration applications.
  • Possess the ability to develop analytical reports and presentations.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience within Design or Construction on infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary Design workflows and understanding of 3D coordination process.
