Manual QA Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis & Test Planning : Review and analyze software requirements to design detailed and structured test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Manual Test Execution : Conduct functional, regression, UI, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring coverage across multiple platforms.
• Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring clear reproduction steps and accurate statuses.
• Test Documentation : Maintain and update test artifacts—such as test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports—to facilitate traceability and transparency.
• Agile Participation : Actively engage in Agile / scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to align testing efforts with development cycles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to clarify requirements, replicate issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Risk & Impact Analysis : Evaluate the implications of new features and changes on existing functionality to prioritize testing effectively.
