Data Engineer (DOMO & Python / Kafka)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines with BI tools (Domo, Power BI, etc.), Python, and SQL

Own and optimize our BI tool — building pipelines / dashboards, performance tuning, cost management, access / permissions, etc.

Monitor and maintain data quality

Investigate, resolve, and future proof against data discrepancies

Navigate and understand API documentation for integrating new data sources

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to find and act on opportunities to enhance reporting and improve business processes

Regularly manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Own documentation of data processes

Be point of contact for vendor relationships

Need to haves

4+ years of ETL and dashboard building experience

Python (making API requests, transforming data, loading data into databases, etc.)

SQL (CTE, Window functions, etc.)

Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets preferred)

Experience with extracting data from API

Nice to haves

Google Cloud Platform

Experience with metrics in digital advertising

Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

Experience with work management tools like Asana and Monda
