Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead end-to-end property acquisition and revenue growth. This role requires a strong background in real estate and hospitality business development, with expertise in CRM-driven lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader capable of driving growth, forging strategic partnerships, and collaborating effectively with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and close deals to acquire residential properties suitable for short-term rentals.
- Manage lead generation and qualification pipelines effectively using CRM and SaaS sales tools.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with property owners, real estate agents, developers, and aggregators.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to optimize portfolio profitability and scalability.
- Partner with Operations, Pricing, and Analytics teams to ensure efficient onboarding and asset optimization.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to continuously identify new acquisition opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and communicate progress to leadership regularly.
- Represent Shepherds.homes at industry events and build the brand's presence in real estate circles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
3 to 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or property acquisition within real estate, hospitality, or adjacent sectors.Proven success managing full sales cycles and exceeding revenue targets.Demonstrated ability with CRM tools, lead management, and SaaS-like sales methodologies.Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.Strategic and data-driven, thriving in fast-paced startup environments.Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or relevant advanced qualifications preferred.Experience in hospitality business development and short-term rental market is highly valued.Compensation & Benefits
