Job descriptionIdentify and resolve Tableau dashboard performance issues, optimizing extract refreshes and queries. Integrate Tableau with diverse cloud (GCP, AWS Athena) and on-premises data sources. Work with development teams to ensure new features and integrations align with infrastructure capabilities. Configure and manage SSO, Azure AD authentication, SCIM provisioning, and MFA. Implement and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and security policies. User Support, Training & Governance Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionality and best practices. Create and manage custom administrative views using Tableau Repository data for user activity, license management, and monitoring. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Tableau governance and best practices are followed. Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with Tableau Vendor for complex issue resolution and enhancements. Coordinate with business users, developers, and IT teams to ensure a smooth Tableau experience
About The Role
Tableau Administration & Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server across multi-node environments.
- Manage Tableau Cloud (Online) and its integrations with enterprise systems.
- Monitor server activity and usage statistics to identify performance enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tableau Server issues using logs, Tableau Repository, and monitoring tools.
- Manage Tableau Server upgrades and patching to ensure system stability and security
