Job description2+ years in Editorial / Desk team of a reputed English newspaper or magazine Proficiency in InDesign and / or QuarkXPress Excellent language skills, attention to detail and a sharp news sense in both the soft and hard news space (especially at the overlap of the two) are non-negotiable. Exceptional command of grammar. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.

- Edit, rewrite, fact check stories filed by reporters
- Give catchy, newsy headlines and plan visual elements for stories
- Curate stories and packages on trending topics
- Coordinate with reporters, designers and other editorial teams
- Work within tight deadlines
Experience
Educational Qualifications :
Graduation degree in any discipline preferably in English with degree or diploma in journalism / mass communication
