Head of Sales – CSD & Institutional Market | Liquor Industry
Job Profile
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our CSD (Canteen Stores Department) and institutional liquor sales across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong network, in-depth knowledge of CSD regulations, supply chain, and procurement processes, and a proven track record of achieving high-volume sales in the liquor segment. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building relationships with key defence and institutional clients, and ensuring seamless execution of all sales initiatives in the CSD channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CSD and institutional liquor sales across multiple regions in India.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting defence canteens, government institutions, and allied markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CSD authorities, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with CSD policies, excise regulations, and liquor distribution norms.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements with CSD units and institutional buyers.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting CSD liquor sales.
- Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Build and lead a high-performing CSD sales team, providing training, targets, and performance monitoring.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Skills and Qualification
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).10–18 years of experience in CSD or institutional liquor sales in India.Strong knowledge of CSD procurement processes, excise rules, and defence supply chain.Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage high-value institutional accounts.Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Well-networked with CSD officials, distributors, and channel partners.Why Join Us
