About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer I with hands-on experience in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to compute, networking, storage, database, monitoring, and security components within AWS, along with a strong understanding of cloud best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
EC2 Management : Provision, configure, and maintain EC2 instances; optimize performance and cost.
Load Balancer Setup : Configure and manage Application / Network Load Balancers for scalable and resilient architectures.
Networking : Implement and troubleshoot cross-account VPC connectivity, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, and routing.
Redis : Deploy and maintain Redis clusters (Elasticache), ensuring high availability and performance.
RDS : Manage RDS instances for backup, performance tuning, security, and maintenance.
S3 : Configure storage buckets, lifecycle policies, versioning, replication, and security controls.
CloudWatch : Develop monitoring dashboards, alarms, log groups, and event-based triggers.
SFTP : Configure and maintain AWS Transfer Family for SFTP usage, user access, and automation.
Alerts & Automation : Create automated alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Lambda, SNS, and EventBridge.
Savings Plan Evaluation : Analyze usage patterns and provide recommendations for cost-efficient AWS Savings Plans.
AWS EKS : Support EKS cluster operations, perform basic troubleshooting, and manage deployments.
VPC & Subnet Configuration : Design and configure VPCs, subnets (public / private), NAT gateways, and peering.
WAF Implementation : Configure AWS WAF rules for application security, bot control, and threat prevention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud services.
Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and cross-account architectures.
Practical experience with infrastructure monitoring, cost optimization, and automation.
Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS) and Kubernetes basics.
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems, network connectivity, and performance issues.
Good scripting skills (Bash / Python) — added advantage.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate , Developer Associate ) is a plus.
