SRE Migration Engineer - AWS Services

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in GitHub to GitLab migration, strong hands-on skills in Python programming, AWS, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing our CI / CD pipelines, improving cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and execute migration from GitHub to GitLab, including CI / CD pipeline setup, repository restructuring, and integrations.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Python to streamline deployment and operational tasks.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Apply SRE principles (monitoring, observability, incident response, performance tuning, SLAs / SLOs) to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases and high availability of services.
• Ensure best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and security compliance.
