What You'll Do
Operational Support
- Provide day-to-day support for cloud-based systems and services, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for connected tools and outdoor products.
Monitoring & Incident Management
Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Mixpanel) to proactively detect and resolve issues.Participate in incident response and resolution efforts, minimizing downtime and disruption.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with development, security, and product teams to ensure system reliability and security.Contribute to defining and enforcing operational and security best practices.Cloud Management (AWS)
Manage cloud infrastructure including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3 / CloudFront.Assist with deployment, performance tuning, and cost optimization in the AWS environment.CI / CD Practices
Drive the implementation and maintenance of CI / CD pipelines using Bitbucket-CI and Jenkins.Ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes for both mobile and web applications.DevSecOps Implementation
Support the shift to a DevSecOps model, integrating security into every stage of the development lifecycle.Infrastructure as Code
Leverage Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools for provisioning and managing cloud resources efficiently and consistently.Continuous Improvement
Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for optimization.Suggest and implement improvements while documenting processes for team-wide knowledge sharing.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, operational processes, and incident reports.Support performance reporting by generating regular KPIs and insights for stakeholders.Qualifications & Skills
Strong foundational knowledge in AWS cloud services.Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Mixpanel).Working knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, Bitbucket-CI, Jenkins.Hands-on experience with infrastructure management tools (e.g., Terraform).Familiarity with API Gateway, Lambda functions, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices.Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.Preferred Certification
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (preferred, not mandatory)Skills Required
