Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Kochi. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Responsibilities also include monitoring and analyzing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and assisting with audits. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and financial analysis
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, and budget management
• Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and audit processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in government accounting is preferred
