About the Role

The DC Systems Engineer will support the design and analysis of DC electrical systems for large-scale solar PV projects. The role involves preparing layouts, performing technical calculations, and coordinating with drafting, civil, and AC teams to ensure precise and integrated design deliverables.

Reports To : Senior DC Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering

• Prepare PV string configurations, DC routing layouts, and interconnection diagrams.
• Perform cable sizing, voltage drop, and DC loss calculations.
• Develop DC protection and monitoring schemes in line with project requirements.
• Prepare drawings, design reports, and documentation packages.

Candidate Profile

Education : BE / BTech in Electrical.

Experience : 3–6 years in DC system design for utility-scale solar PV projects.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst.

Other Skills : Good understanding of PV module interconnections, BOS components, and DC cabling; strong communication and teamwork abilities.
