Job descriptionOversee quality systems across manufacturing units, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Monitor and evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT. Ensure traceability and integrity of inspection, testing, and certification processes. Drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs. Lead R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications. Explore and develop hydrogen-compatible products, including collaboration with H₂ labs. Apply advanced metallurgical knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection. Analyse and resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance. Act as the primary technical contact for key clients, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries and issues. Collaborate with vendors for quality assurance, technical compliance, and process enhancements. Provide technical inputs for tenders, proposals, and customer specifications. Ensure compliance with statutory, industry, and customer-specific requirements. Keep abreast of emerging standards, technologies, and best practices in the Oil & Gas and hydrogen energy sectors.

- Ensure adherence to international quality and industry standards (API, ISO, ASTM, etc.).
