About the Role :

As a Senior SOC Analyst at NCG, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization against evolving cyber threats. Your expertise will directly contribute to the security posture of our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of security awareness and collaborate in a dynamic Security Operations Center (SOC) team consisting of 15 dedicated professionals. This role offers substantial growth opportunities through continuous learning and skill development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM tools.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering their professional growth.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Partner with IT and compliance teams to ensure alignment on security policies.
  • Participate in long-term security initiatives, contributing innovative ideas.

You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You :

  • Have 36 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar cybersecurity role.
  • Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent (highly desirable).
  • Possess proficiency in advanced SIEM tools, particularly Trellix.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks.
  • Are familiar with scripting languages like Python and PowerShell for automation and analysis.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have proven leadership abilities, including experience in managing and mentoring team members.

    • Education :

    Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
