Role Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and research-driven Placement & Career Opportunities Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will actively identify job opportunities in the finance and investment sector and connect them with our students enrolled in FinnovationZ programs.

This role will also involve building partnerships with financial institutions, managing placement operations, and supporting students in their career journey.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify and verify real-time finance job openings across job portals, LinkedIn, and company websites.

Maintain a structured job opportunity tracker and share regular updates with students.

Build and nurture partnerships with finance companies, recruiters, and hiring managers.

Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate interviews and placement drives.

Support placement-related initiatives like mock interviews, resume sessions, and career webinars.

Track placement outcomes and prepare weekly / monthly placement reports.

Stay up to date with current hiring trends.

Requirements :

Basic understanding of finance roles — equity research, investment banking, financial analysis, etc.

Strong communication, research, and networking skills.

Familiarity with LinkedIn, job portals, and Excel / Google Sheets.

Organized, proactive, and passionate about helping students succeed.

Prior experience in placements, recruitment, or career services will be an added advantage.
