Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Tenneco may make reasonable accommodations to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.

• Coordinates suppliers on new parts development for Proto and Series development for product launches.
• Provides active representation on the project teams- PM / Engg & supplier follow-ups until SOP +90 days to ensure Quality, Delivery, Cost support to program SOP launch.
• Having Good know how on technical processes and their cost evaluation for best cost negotiations with suppliers to meet program target.
• Negotiates technical and / or supply agreements with suppliers involved in "early supplier involvement" to ensure Tenneco design and developed technology is protected.
• Utilizes supplier selection in alignment with purchasing strategies and new product performance requirements.
• Drives value analysis / value engineering activity during launch phase.
• Supports improvement of supplier launch procedures to minimize inventory obsolescence and supports lean manufacturing needs in alignment with operational expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
