Consultant - Quantity Surveying

Job Description

Responsible for managing and coordinating the project team be one of the primary representative of the Consultant to the Client as related to project matters (Contractual, commercial, financial). He shall keep a close eye on project finances and contractual relationships. He should make sure that the financial position of construction projects is accurately reported and controlled effectively.

Responsibilities

The overall scope of works and responsibilities are as follows :

• Cost planning, Quantification and Costing of Construction Works,
• Assisting Value management and Value Engineering exercises,
• Project Financial Controlling and Reporting
• Assess capital and revenue expenditure over the whole life of a facility / Project (s)
• Procurement and Tendering advised to the Client
• Preparation of BOQ, Tender document, Tender Addendum, Contract document, Tender reporting and Managing the Tender process
• Reviewed the Contract documents for the project packages and related Consultancy services agreements
• Review the Budgets, Payments, Variations and Claims
• Report any red flag inefficiencies, Contractual and Commercial issues of the project and advise
• Reviewed the progress of the project vis-�-vis the Construction Budget and Payment certified and paid to date
