Position Overview :
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Area Head to lead the Sales and Collection function for our business Vertical . The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of total experience , including a minimum of 3 years in team management , leading a team of at least 7 members . This role demands strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of customer behavior, and a results-oriented approach to sales and collections.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Management
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies focused on clients to meet business targets and drive growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and areas for customer acquisition.
- Ensure the achievement of sales KPIs and drive cross-functional coordination for business enablement.
- Build strong working relationships with partners, dealers, distributors, channel partner and other key stakeholders.
Collections Management
Oversee and manage the collections process to ensure timely and efficient recovery of dues.Minimize delinquency rates by implementing proactive and data-driven collection strategies.Handle escalated collection cases and assist in negotiations, settlements, and legal processes when required.Ensure adherence to internal risk and compliance standards during collection activities.Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and manage a team of 7 or more professionals across sales and collections functions.Set clear targets, provide regular performance feedback, and support individual growth and development.Conduct regular reviews and field visits to monitor productivity and market dynamics.Promote a performance-driven and collaborative team culture.Reporting & Analytics
Analyse sales and collection data to derive actionable insights and recommend improvements.Prepare comprehensive MIS reports and dashboards for senior management review.Monitor competitor activity and market trends relevant to the business.Leverage analytics to optimize operations and improve customer engagement.Qualifications and Skills :
Experience :
3 to 6 years of total experience in sales and collections, preferably in , business loans, or financial services.Minimum 3 years of experience in managing teams of 7 or more .Hands-on experience in Secured and Unsecured LendingEducation :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance / MBA or a related field is preferred.Skills :
In-depth knowledge of the market and credit behaviour.Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, financial data analysis, and reporting tools.Ability to work in a target-driven and high-pressure environment.Skills Required
