Job description

Key Skills

1. Client relationship management : Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain high trust and long term relationship with clients

2. Communication : Excellent verbal and communication skills for conveying complex concepts clearly

3. Sales and Negotiation Skills : Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.

4. Financial Acumen : In-depth understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets. Ability to analyse financial statements and provide sound financial advice.

5. Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address needs and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers by converting referral leads generated through existing clients, NRI brokers, stock brokers, expats of shipping companies and overseas branches.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Branch Banking team to grow the NR business for the assigned geography
  • Provide financial solutions to the NRI customers while maintaining high service standards
  • Maintain complete customer profile including the risk profile, demographics and assets in the bank
  • Maintain relationships with the existing customers through mailers and phone calls and share insights on the fluctuations in interest rates, exchange rates and various product offerings
  • Enrich relationships and garner higher wallet share through customer engagement activities
  • Deepen the existing relationships by cross selling the Bank's products and services / third party investment products
  • Review the inflows and outflows in the mapped NRI accounts and also proactively track NRI visits to India
  • Identify potential customers who can be sold tailored products to enhance product penetration
  • Achieve targets as assigned by the organization on a monthly basis
  • Record and track all engagement activities through the CRM system
  • Comply with KYC / SEBI rules, regulations, and legislation governing the Bank
  • Coach and be the Knowledge Lead for NR Business for Branch teams on the latest products and processes of the Bank
  • Conduct training for the Branch Team / RMs on a regular basis
  • Regular interaction with central teams to help build a strong customer proposition
  • Work along with the Sales team and other channels to achieve targeted growth.
  • Strong Analytical, Presentation skills and MIS reporting are required & should be able to present to Senior Management the desk investment policies and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and interpretative skills, Integrity, Ability to establish trust, Self-driven, Team Player, Team Management, Networking Ability, Ability to work under time pressure and adhere to deadlines.
