Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Network Change and Compliance Management function.
This role is pivotal in ensuring all aspects of network change management, ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. availability, security, and compliance of our network infrastructure. This role will act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, driving governance, risk management, and operational excellence in enterprise network environments.
The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to enforce processes that safeguard network stability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Change Management
- Lead the Pre-CCB (Pre-Change Control Board) review process, ensuring all proposed changes meet documentation, risk, and compliance requirements before being escalated to CAB.
- Validate change requests for completeness, technical feasibility, impact analysis, and rollback strategy.
- Coordinate with requesters and technical teams to address gaps before CAB presentation.
- Track Pre-CCB approvals, rejections, and resubmissions, maintaining transparency and traceability
- Facilitate CAB meetings , ensuring stakeholder participation (Ops, Security, Business, Vendors).
- Present change risk, business impact, and mitigation strategies for informed decision-making.
- Maintain detailed minutes of CAB meetings and ensure decisions are accurately captured in ITSM tools (e.G., ServiceNow)
- Act as a neutral decision enabler, balancing business urgency with operational risk.
- Drive adherence to enterprise Change Management policies and ITIL best practices.
- Monitor KPIs such as change success rate, emergency changes, and change-related incidents.
- Proactively identify recurring issues in change execution and implement process improvements.
- Ensure rollback and contingency plans are documented, tested, and understood by all stakeholders.
- Network Compliance & Governance
- Ensure network operations comply with internal security policies, enterprise standards, and regulatory frameworks (ISO, SOC2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance checklists, audit trials, and reporting mechanisms.
- Perform periodic compliance assessments and identify gaps in configuration, patching, and documentation.
- Partner with InfoSec and Risk teams to strengthen compliance posture.
- Audit Support (Internal & External)
- Act as the central point of contact for all internal and external audits related to network operations.
- Prepare and present evidence, audit documentation, and compliance reports.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings with appropriate remediation plans.
- Educate and guide teams on audit readiness and compliance best practices.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide strategic guidance to the Network Operations, Engineering, and Security teams.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to balance compliance requirements with operational agility.
- Mentor team members on change control and compliance frameworks.
- Represent the enterprise network function in governance forums and executive reviews.
Required Skills & Experience :
10–15 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network & security infrastructure.Strong expertise in Arista (EOS, CVaaS), Palo Alto NGFW (SCM / Panorama), Cisco IOS and network routing / switching protocols.Expertise in Change Management processes (ITIL framework) and enterprise governance.Understanding of network security principles and regulatory frameworks.Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred Certifications :
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.10–15 years of experience in enterprise network operations , with at least 4-5 years in a managing change governance & Network Audit & compliance role.ITIL v3 / v4 certification required.Networking Certification : Arista ACE : L2 / L3 / L4;Cisco (CCNP / CCIE)
Security Certification : Palo Alto – PCNSEPrior experience leading Pre-CCB & CAB processes in large enterprises is highly desirableProven track record of handling Network Compliance, audits and governance, at scale in a large enterprise.Understanding on Wireless & Cloud Networking will be added advantage.
