Job Title : Team Lead – Admissions (Team Lead)
Experience : 7–10 Years
Reports To : Director of Admissions
Role Objective :
To lead and manage the admissions counselling and telecalling teams for specific schools / programmes, ensuring achievement of conversion targets and delivery of a seamless applicant experience across all admission stages.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Team Leadership and Performance Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of counsellors and telecallers handling different schools / programmes.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly conversion targets and review performance metrics.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team communication, counselling quality, and product knowledge.
2. Admissions Oversight
Monitor the lead-to-admission pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate data entry in CRM and ERP.Support counsellors with complex queries, high-value applicants, or parent escalations.Coordinate with the Outreach Team for incoming leads and with the Admissions Office for offer letters and completion of admission process and with finance office for fee processing.3. Reporting and Analytics
Generate and share daily / weekly MIS reports – including source analysis, conversion ratios, and pipeline projections – with the Director of Admissions.Track team performance against KPIs and identify process bottlenecks.Recommend strategies for improving lead quality and conversion rates.4. Compliance and Quality Control
Ensure all admissions activities follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), UGC, and RVU regulations.Conduct regular audits of communication, documentation, and lead tracking for accuracy and quality.5. Coordination and Escalations
Work with the Director on scholarship recommendations, fee concessions, and special approvals.Liaise with schools for admissions updates, seat availability, and withdrawal cases.Required Skills and Competencies :
Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.High proficiency in CRM tools and data reporting.Strong stakeholder management with schools, outreach partners, and internal teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.Educational Qualification :
