We are seeking a versatile and experienced Turbomachinery Engineers to lead and support the design, integration, and product definition of high-performance rotating equipment including gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, and expanders. This role combines responsibilities across the full product lifecycle—from concept development and CAD modeling to manufacturing definition and service support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and integrate components and assemblies for turbomachinery systems.
- Create 3D models, digital assemblies, GA drawings, stress models, and manufacturing instructions using traditional drawings or Model-Based Definition (MBD).
- Apply principles of robust design, system engineering, DFX, design for manufacturability (DFM), and design for reliability (DFR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, stress, fluid systems, and materials to mature designs through gated reviews.
- Interface with subsystem owners (e.g., lubrication, cooling, structural, aerothermal) to ensure design compatibility.
- Apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and mass property principles to ensure design integrity and performance.
- Support root cause analysis, fleet issue resolution, and design updates based on field performance and service feedback.
- Ensure Right First Time (RFT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) of all design and definition deliverables.
- Maintain documentation workflows and drawing change control in PLM systems.
Technical Skills :
Experience in gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, expanders, or other rotating equipment.Strong proficiency in CAD modeling, drafting, and MBD workflows using UG NX, Teamcenter, and PDM Metaphase.Deep understanding of thermal, mechanical, and dynamic behavior of turbomachinery components.Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack analysis, and mass properties.Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and AS9145 frameworks.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical / Aerospace / Industrial / Production / Design Engineering.2–10 years of experience in turbomachinery design, product definition, or rotating equipment engineering.
